I woke up this morning and my husband said, “Happy Anniversary! Can you believe we have been married 17 years?” I replied, “Can you believe we got married when I was 10?”
“Your a freaking liar, you were 11, because you are 28 now :)” He says back.
And then our room was full of kids who needed something.
10 Things I love about my husband:
- He must like me fat, because he always brings me home frozen yogurt (he hates it) and Sonic slushies.
- Paul can change a dirty diaper on his lap when there is no changing table available and the person next to him won’t even realize it.
- He has never asked me about the condition of the house. If he has had to push a door open because there was so much stuff on the floor he says, “Wow, you guys had fun today!” and isn’t being sarcastic.
- Everything I cook is “this is the BEST …. I have ever had!”
- I can leave for 5 days for work, leave him with 7 kids and not prepare a thing for him before I leave, or write down the kids schedule. Then while I am gone listen to my friends freak out the whole time about their husbands with 1-2 kids who can’t handle it and are demanding that they leave and come home. Or had to find in-laws to come and help because the Dad had no idea what to do.
- Paul delivered 3 of our kids himself (on purpose!) and assisted with the others.
- He can do a ponytail like no ones business and find a matching bow!
- Once, a week after having a baby I got out of the shower, he looked at me and said, “You are so beautiful” and I know he really meant it. It made me cry.
- Paul says family prayer with the kids every night.
- Sports movies, solider homecoming videos, and ESPN highlight reels make him cry.
What do you love about your husband or wife?!

Awe…This brought tears (happy ones) to my eyes reading this post.
You are BOTH very lucky to have one another.
You know I can’t even leave town and leave my husband to care for just our 4- legged furry child and house without him wanting me to hurry back home only to get home and find things falling apart.
You & Paul are one in million! Happy Anniversary

I Love everything about my husband on a good day on a bad day…I have to remember all the good things I Love about him and that’s how we’ve stayed married going on 25 years this year. I Love being married to my husband and the things that he tries so hard at, but sometimes fall short of makes me Love him even more…So God gave him a Great since of humor, because he knew I Love to laugh. And I haven’t found anything that he wouldn’t try to do once even if he didn’t succeed. Even having to put up with me….
Happy Aniversary Tiffany and Paul!!!
And many more….God Bless You Both and Your Family….

Happy Anniversary!!!!!! Very cute post. June 5 we will have been married 32 yrs.WOW!!!!!!! Not many people make to 17 or 32 any more. Now the man can just drive me nuts and I want to chop in in little pieces and bury him in the back 10 acres.Shhh if he ever comes up missing.LOL 🙂 I know this sounds corny but he really completes me. He has put up with me and all my hard headness,he always spoiled me,he doesn’t gripe if the house looks like a tornado stuck it,I can make whatever and he will eat it, has been a great dad to our own 3 kids and has taken the 4 we have adopted and made them who they are today. We now are looking into being foster parents to at least 2 more. A lot of guys at the age of 51 wouldn’t want to do that. Plus we have so much in common. My birthday is Dec 13,his the 14,both 51,dads were Marines, moms are Connie Jean his is Bonnie Jean, that’s just some . Plus I still like him…. 🙂
