is the catalina $4/anything @ Randalls or more tooth brushes?!?

I don’t understand how you are using 2 $2/2 coupons and 2 $1/1 coupons. Maybe you meant to put OR USE. I’m confused!

Ok, I tried this tonight at my Randalls (which I will never be going back to again!)
My first transaction was the Viva Paper towels with the in-ad store coupon making them $4.99 per 6-pack. I bought 2 packs and used 2 50 cents/1 coupon. The first coupon doubled, and the second did not, as expected. Then I paid and got my $4 catalina. Smooth transaction.
Next I tried the toothbrushes: 4 2-packs at $1.87/pack. Then I was going to use 2 $1/1 printable coupons and 2 $1/1 from the newspaper. Everything was appearing fine on my screen (self-check out) but when I went to pay, the lady came over and told me that she needed approval because it said “item limit reached” or something. She told me that I had too many coupons for the amount of items, which I did not. So she asked a manager and came back and told me that I would have to do each in a separate transaction because it said one coupon per purchase. I tried to explain to her that that didn’t mean 1 per transaction, and that I wanted to buy 4 to get my catalina. She said the only way I could use them was to buy them one at a time. So I told her nevermind, I didn’t want them.
Next transaction I tried to buy some Boost shakes. I used a $1.00 off store coupon then when I tried to use my $4 catalina from Viva, she got that same message. The manager came over and told me that I couldn’t use it because the coupons exceeded the amount of the merchandise. Well, it didn’t because the Boost was $9.89 minus $1 coupon = $8.89. Then minus $4 catalina = $4.89. So apparently, she didn’t know what she was talking about. When I did the math for her, she changed her story and told me that I couldn’t use it because I was using my Randall’s Remarkable store card, and that I wasn’t allowed to use a coupon on an item that you got savings on by using the card. WHAT IS THAT? Seriously, I am never going back there. Throughout the whole time she was yelling at me and being extremely rude. I will price-match to Walmart instead of ever going back there.
