I know that not everyone has an HEB, they are more of a Texas store. Pretty cool store though, they have some weird coupon “rules” but a good store overall, with good deals. Stay tuned for a HEB post this week, on what all those coupons mean that are in their store!
This is from Ginger:
“Thank you so much for posting the HEB deals! I try to go and check out all the coupons, and also check their flyer, but I didn’t have much time yesterday before heading out. I checked your site, saw your HEB list, copied it and off I went.
I got everything in the picture for $41.02! The total before coupons was $78.22.
The regular milk was the only thing I didn’t have a coupon for!”
I am hoping Ginger used the printable list feature as I am never sure if anyone is using those! HEB is good for walking in without coupons and still getting a good deal!

I use the HEB printable list as well. This was my first week going to HEB instead of Kroger, and was pleasantly surprised! I did better than I thought (40% savings), but look forward to doing even better!
Thanks for posting the match-ups!

I just wish I understood why they won’t let you piggy-back mfg. coupons with their “in-store” coupons. They get reimbursed from the mfg, and take the mfg coupons anyway, so why not let you do both?
Tiffany says
MOst of those yellow coupons are actually mfg coupons. If they have a “B” on them they are store coupons.

They will as long as like Tiffany said they have a B which stands for Big Savings. If it has an M then they won’t. You can always double Target and Manufacturer coupons. I got Almay Make up for free today!!

Wasn’t able to find the pasta, nor the HEB veggies at my store. We did find the Totino’s pizza deal and used .50 cents off 3 coupon. Also used Rimmel $1.50/1 store coupon with $1.00/1 MFR coupon for .69 cent nail polish and eye shadow. Looks like San Antonio has different deals than Houston.

With all of this week’s meal deal we paid $46 for $81 of food and started our stockpile!

tiffany thanks i been do this for a couple of mths now but not as good as u. but got a question do you . what if your coupon expires and and what stores are double coupon i leave in san antoino tx.
TexaNick says
I’m in SA also. Neither HEB, Target or Walmart, CVS or Walgreens will double coupons. There’s only one Albertson’s in New Braunfels and we checked, they don’t double. At HEB you *can* stack coupons. We’ve had luck with using a coupon for the item you’re buying, then get the rest free with a meal deal. Can also use Target coupons with mfr coupons. You won’t get $1,000 worth of food for $9, but we saved over $120 yesterday on normal groceries and had the 2 ladies in line behind us asking how we did it!

I just went to HEB today! I loved it! I really like how they have coupons all throughout the store! I spent $25.90 and saved $10.57 with just those yellow in store coupons! I even got some of the Dannon Light & Fit (like in the picture). It made me so happy to see them have the coupon right next to the yogurt and then have a sign showing how cheap it will be! HEB is my new favorite grocery store!
