Reader Spotlight: April!

“I just started reading your blog last week. I have never been a serious coupon clipper but always wanted to save money. After hearing several stories from a friend on how much she saves when she shops (she is who referred me to your blog), I thought I would see what the fuss was all about. I have been clipping coupons for 2 weeks now, so I don’t have a huge backlog, but I made 2 trips today with what I had-one to Target and one to Kroger. Here are my results with 2 pictures attached.

Kroger total: $87.46

After Mega Deal discount and coupons: $37.00

Target Total: $39.41

After coupons and $5 gift card rebate: .41 cents

I have to admit that it is addicting and also made me feel great for being a good servant of the money I have. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with me!”
