You have been hearing about a site called Raise.com and want a review or want to know if it is a legit site? Let me share what I have learned with you, and what other people have said so you can know how to use them and what the deal is.
First, is Raise.com a legit site?
Yes. Raise.com has been around for quite a few years. The first post I can find I did about them was back in 2013.
But do what I do with most places and check them out Raise.com on the BBB (Better Business Bureau). Raise.com has a A+ rating! But you can see for yourself HERE.
How do I get my $5 credit when I sign up?:
Signing up is very easy. There are just a few simple steps.
- Sign up HERE – You will see where it says $5 from MLITTER
- Now you want to get your activation code either emailed or text to you. Enter the code to verify the device you are on.
- You will now see (if you are on mobil) where it says “We’ve added $5 credit…” and you are good to go. Now you just need to look for the gift card you want.
It really takes about 30 seconds to sign up!
Every time I go to Raise.com the Starbucks/Panera cards are all gone!
Ok this is the comment I see the most. Just calm down! There are literally HUNDREDS and HUNDREDS of gift cards to choose from! You don’t have to do EXACTLY what I posted you can choose which ones you want.
They reload cards all day long, just check back a little later and they might have them. If you only see $100 gift cards and want the $20 ones, CALM DOWN, they will also reload those at some point as well. You just need to check back! OR choose a different card to buy.
I personally set alerts for the cards that I want. If you are on a desktop or laptop you can do this. I have not found a way to do it on mobil yet. All you need to do is click on the “set alert” and you will get an email when those cards are back in stock. You can also set a price range of what cards you are looking for. This is THE BEST WAY to get those elusive Starbucks cards!
How do I use my card once I have it?
Once you have a gift card, they are either going to mail it to you, or it was an e-gift card that they added to your “wallet”
Go to “orders” and then you will see the cards you have bought. It takes only a few minutes to get your e-gift cards, which is why they are really good to use online when you are shopping. One you click on it, you will see your account number and pin number. You will use this number just like a credit card number when you are checking out. In the stores check out section, just choose “store gift card” to put in your numbers and use your card!
How many times can I use a coupon code?
Once. Most codes and the $5 sign up are for NEW accounts ONLY. You can only use that code one time.
How many accounts do you have?
I have ONE account. I was able to get the $5 sign up and the $10 off a $16 purchase 1 time.
Can I get actual plastic gift cards?
YES! Some of the cards are e-gift cards and some are actual plastic gift cards they will mail to your home. I noticed most of the grocery store ones are plastic cards… obviously because you don’t really use Kroger gift cards online 🙂
These are actual gift cards from Raise.com that I got and used at my Kroger store to buy the groceries for the lady in front of me, in honor of my daughter Emma, and to buy our Thanksgiving dinner.
How do you keep using cards then?
I keep buying them at the prices listed. Getting a $54 Victoria Secret card for $38 is a great deal! Especially since I can combine it with coupon codes and a sale at Victoria Secret! This is my strategy for saving even more money on top of a sale.
For example, see my Starbucks post HERE on how I saved on their Cyber Monday sale.
Can I refer my friends?
YES! Every time you refer a friend and they make their first purchase, you get $5 credit towards more gift cards. Find your referral code under “My Rewards” and click on the invite friends blue button for your code!
As you can see, this is a very fun site to use. It is part of my shopping strategy to save even a little more money on deals that are already good.
What other questions do you have? I can answer them in the comments or add to this post!

Great deals, just be careful of fraud!
I was introduced to Raise.com a couple of years ago. One lesson learned is you must be very vigilant about the balance on gift cards received.
The website is legit, the business is legit, but the cards come from people like you and me… and sometimes people are dishonest. Out of 10 cards I’ve purchased, 3-4 cards had balances that “vanished”! This is not a joke– it’s as if the card was purchased, the seller got their money but still used the card for themselves.
The positive side is Raise.com has a great customer service team, and when I reported my issue to them, they investigated the theft and refunded me my purchase price every time.
