Many museums and zoos offer discounts for teachers, as well as group rates for field trips. Be sure to call any place you have interest in visiting and asking about programs.
National Geographic
The Geno 2.0 kit can be sold to educators at a discount. Educators can go online and apply to receive the educator discount. The application can be accessed via the Genographic Project website. Find the area that reads For Educators. They can also email questions to Genothreads@ngs.org. Once they have applied for the discount, they will receive an email from Genothreads@ngs.org with information on how to order their discounted kits.
Verizon, Sprint and AT&T are all said to have discount for teachers, but not in all areas/states. Call as inquire to your provider, usually these discounts are given based on a verified work email.
Apple has education pricing for teachers, faculty and students.

The 2012-2013 Read To Succeed program is closed. Registration for the 2013-2014 program will begin in the Fall. Schools must be within 250 miles of a Six Flags Location
Read to Succeed is an exciting program that encourages students in grades K through 6 to read for fun. Students who complete six hours of recreational reading earn free tickets to Six Flags!
