Personally, I think the Ozark Trail tumbler is pretty amazing.
Being frugal and all – I wanted to see if the YETI was worth all the hype or if a knockoff would do the job.
I picked up a couple Ozark Trail 30 oz tumblers when I first saw them online.
I did a very un-professional ice test just to see how well the cups insulated – and here’s what happened.
I filled the tumbler halfway up with ice and put the lid on about Noon on Friday and left it out on the counter. Before I went to bed at 11pm Friday it still had good solid chunks of ice and very little water at the bottom.
At 10 am Saturday, I checked on it and there was still a little bit of ice left.
By noon it was all melted. But it kept the water very cold for 24 hours.
That’s it – totally unscientific, but I think that’s pretty good insulation! What do you think? Have you tried them both?

Have you tried to put a vinyl monogram on the colored (non stainless steel) cup? The texture of the cup is different and I’m wondering if it will hold the monogram. What do you think?
