I just tried to get this deal at Walgreens, Unfortunately the manager would not take my $5/2 coupon because my total was less then the coupon itself. THEN he went and told me that the wipes were not “pictured on the coupon” therefore the coupon is invalid. Even after I pointed out it says “ANY” Almay products he still stand firm on his reasoning. =0(
Stores have the ability to adjust the coupon down. However, sometimes they do not know how, or corporate allows them their discretion in doing so. If you have another Walgreens near you, you might try that.
I have problems with Walgreens as well, they never have stock or are able to do these deals- for that reason I refuse to go there 🙁
The coupons weren’t working for me like I couldn’t double them in one transaction the register wouldn’t process it so what you can do is use both coupons (at least for the makeup removers) and buy 4 of them in one transaction for $5 still a good deal! 🙂
also helps if you check out in the cosmetics dept. not only will they help you with the coupons but those girls work for commission so i always check out there.
