For many of you ( including me ) Kroger has 2 great sales going right now. The Cart Buster and the 5 for $5 Mega Event. BUT, the tags sure do look a lot alike and I think that some of you are confusing the 2, which is completely understandable!
Tag “A” – Cart Buster – Is a fun event with certain brands and offers an e-coupon every day you can load to your card. Today it is save $1 on Wishbone.
Tag “B” – Mega Event – This is the buy 5 get $5 back in catalinas that I have been freaking out about! These are the tags to be looking for the most. Make sure that they say 5 for $5 on the right side.
As you can see above, they look an awful lot alike, but they are 2 different sales. If you have had some confusion and a catalina didn’t print, make sure you are grabbing the correct products.

I shopped at Kroger yesterday with coupons and came home with $70 in catalinas for my next shopping trip! I’m going to use that $70 worth on more items to get more catalinas!
I cannot believe how many good deals there are with this sale!! I am headed to Kroger before I go to work this afternoon 🙂

I just came back from the Kroger in Sterling Ridge………not loving Kroger now as much. First of all I was told I could NOT do two transactions. I said outloud, “Fine, I will just get lots of money back for next time”That was my cashiers first chance to tel me about the NEW limit…..nothing. I paid for my purchase, eagerly awaited for my catalinas should have gotten $50 back, but all that popped out was $20.00. They said it just came from corporate and there is now a limit of 4 cat per person per day….?????? I spoke to the manager and he reittereted and I told him this is not in the ad, and apparently after I left the cereal aisle, they put a sign up. I said I wanted to ruturn 30 of my items and the manager said OK. I said I would also like my coupons back. He said OK. I was thinking, really you are going to put me aND YOUR EMPLOYEES THROUGH ALL THIS?? He then said, I am just going to give you a $30 gift card So, I went to CS, got my GC and was out of there. Took the fun out. I did overall get a great deal and have $20 Catalinas and $30 gc for my next trip. I never hear of issues like the SR Kroger.
Yep…bought a couple of wrong items yesterday and had to go “fix” it since I ended up with 29 items and not the 35 I thought I had. Not as great of a trip as I expected, but it was good!…oh well…needed toilet paper anyway.
my kroger showed me an email from corporate that they are now limiting the number of catalinas you can get with this promotion. I was only allowed to get 4. I was told it was linked to my plus card and that I wouldn’t be able to get another 4 until tomorrow…
