“I’ve been having so much fun with this Kroger mega event that I thought I’d send you a picture. This is my 3rd shopping trip in 7 days, so I’ve really been stocking up on mega event items (and we still have another week to go!).
The only items not on sale or markdown were the hummus, sparkling water, and organic bananas. I use the nonfat dry milk to make homemade Greek yogurt in the crockpot, so I was glad to find that on manager’s special markdown. The can of pumpkin was also on markdown. My husband is very happy about the Gillette razors since those are his favorite.
Total before mega event and coupons $162.03. Total after $80.02. Received $3 coupon ONYO from the MIO. Total savings of 53%!
I got the most awesome cashier named Amber tonight. She rang up my items as we chatted, then I pulled out my stack of coupons and handed them to her. She dramatically pulled the waistband of her pants higher, swung her hair up in a clip, and said “Let’s go!” and started scanning coupons!”
That is AWESOME!!! I love fun cashers!
