I hate the comment about retailers going out of business if everyone uses coupons. What they should have said is that the grocery stores get reimbursed for the coupons are are out no money.
By the way, you look great! That was also a great job at HEB cause it’s a difficult place to save a lot of money at when couponing!

Awesome! Great job!

Loved this! The only thing I didnt like was the news lady saying that if everyone couponed like we do then retailers wont make any money. Thats simply not true. Our coupons are worth more than cash because not only do they get reimbursed that amount they also receive a standard handling of 8 cents per coupon. As for stores that double coupons and absorb that double you have to keep in mind that thier prices are typically inflated and can afford to take that hit. Love seeing your videos!

Great news clip! Respectable and show balance. Thank you for giving couponing a good name.

Thanks for sharing! I like that you didn’t check out with 80 bottles of pop (yes that’s what we call soda in canada:) and that the total was still $27 and not 30 cents! that would be discouraging to most people.

Great job. That was nice savings at heb.

Just watched it and LOVED it minus the “professor” stating that the stores make no money. I would love to hear her explanation on that one. Then I read the few comments and WOW, there is a person who is FILLED with hatred toward extreme couponers. S/he said that EC are committing fraud. The s/he goes on to say that she is not going to explain her thought process on that b/c it will teach others how to do it.
I think we should hold a couponers day somewhere here in Houston. I would so be there to show my support for my fellow couponers. We need to stand together and teach others to legal correct way to coupon out in the open.
Okay I am fired up now…and I have to go grocery shopping with coupons at (no less) Kroger…ONLY because the mega event is still going on.

I usually watch Channel 13 at 10pm — but HAD to watch Channel 11 when I saw the promo for the show!! I also am so glad your total was reasonable — and not extreme! That showed more of what someone would normally save by clipping coupons! Good job Tiffany!

good job.

Awesome job! Very well done! You give couponing a GOOD name!

Yea! I enjoyed the segment. I especially liked that they showed you had 3 coupons and not 50 (although I could understand using 50 with 7 kids). I read your blog often. It’s clean, easy to read, and it has a nice, family feel. Thank you!

I saw a bit of your binder. How are you organizing now? Not with baseball cards? It was a great piece and you looked wonderful. And way to respond to all those negative comments and haters! With such positiveness and class!
Anna says
If she couponed with baseball cards it probably wouldn’t do much for the total at the end of a grocery store trip 🙂
It looked to me like she was using a binder filled with baseball card holders… the holders are the perfect size for coupons.
… totally a great video-except the ding dong saying if everyone used coupons everyone would go out of business. I think retailers are smart enough to know how many coupons they are sending out. No one would intentionally put themselves out of business.

Great job!! I usually don’t comment, but just wanted to say how much I loved your site and this segment was great.

You Tiffany, if you send me a picture of you I’d love to try to add scissors. Be great for my photography project I have to do.

I would love to learn how to save this kind of money. Story mentioned that you teach classes on this subject? I would love any information you can send on how to join this class. This story was great and I also saw the show on TLC when it aired. Great job We just moved to the Spring area and it would be real easy to hook up for lessons. Thanks.
