Recipe: How To Make Easy Tuscan Chicken Crock-pot Recipe
Hi Everyone! We are back in the kitchen and today we are going to make one of our favorites Tuscan Chicken Crock-pot Recipe! Grab your crock-pot and a few simple ingredients for everyone’s favorite!
Prep time only takes a few minutes and you are well on your way to a satisfying meal. Perfect cold-weather meal and your family will be asking, “Is It Done Yet?” all day in anticipation. I always catch Paul sneaking a peek before I can even get the lid on.
It really is that easy and so delicious. No fancy cooking skills needed. This is a great “set it and forget it” recipe for a busy family like ours. When you return to the kitchen, you will have an amazing meal to enjoy.
Seriously! Crazy Super Easy!
Place your chicken thighs into your crock-pot and sprinkle the Italian seasoning over the chicken thighs as well as the crushed red peppers. Chop your sundried tomatoes and place in the crock-pot.
Set aside the crockpot for just a few minutes to make your sauce in a pan on the stovetop!
Brown the garlic with butter in a pan to help bring out the flavors of the garlic. Once the garlic is brown to your liking, lower the heat on the pan and add in 1 cup of heavy cream and 1/2 cup of chicken broth. Stir together while heating so nothing yummy sticks to the pan. You want to heat long enough to where the cream almost sticks to the spatula and starts to thicken (similar to an alfredo sauce). Once the sauce is thickened, add in the Parmesan cheese and allow to melt into the sauce as you continue to stir.
Once your sauce is complete, pour over your chicken in the crock-pot
Cook on HIGH for 8 hours.
Place the fresh spinach on the top approx. 30 minutes prior to eating, place the lid on and allow the spinach to “soften” into the chicken mix for an extra level of taste. (You may also want to add-in cooked bacon if you are a bacon lover).
Salt and Pepper to taste once plated. All your seasoning measurements are to your taste and preference depending on the level of spice you enjoy.
We love to serve our Tuscan Chicken over pasta noodles and serve with a side salad and some garlic bread. The choice is yours!

2 lbs bone-in chicken thighs
1/2 diced sun-dried tomatoes
1 Cup of Heavy Cream
1/2 Cup of Chicken Broth
Butter
Garlic (Fresh or Jar)
Fresh Grated Parmesan Cheese
Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper
Red pepper flakes
Fresh Spinach (Optional)
Bacon (Optional)
