How can spending $99 on a membership save money?
Think about these factors:
- How often to you rent or watch movies?
- Even if it’s twice a month and only $1.20 per rental through Redbox, that’s already $28.80 per year towards your membership. That number goes up a lot faster if you are renting from a video store.
- How often do you add items not on special at Amazon.com to your cart to get to the $35 minimum for Free Super Saver Shipping? Or how often do you just pay the shipping fee because you don’t have time to find $15 more for the free shipping?

What types of movies and TV do you get with the Amazon Prime? Are they older movies and shows? Would it be similar to Netflix? Has anyone used it and found it worthwhile for the movies and tv shows? I have a 13 year old boy who loves to what all sorts of stuff.
Thanks,
Sara

Amazon Prime is great. And it makes even more sense now that the minimum ship amount moved several months ago from $25 to $35. (I believe the info in the story above is inaccurate.)
Without Prime you’d have a tough time taking full advantage of the less expensive limited-time deals.
And Amazon prices fluctuate so often that simply adding stuff to your cart over a period of days until you hit $35 can be very risky.
The Movie selection is broad but not full of really fresh movies. The TV/Cable series collection is fairly rich but far from complete. While Prime helps to cut the cable, it is not a replacement for Netflix. I would not buy Prime unless you see value in the Amazon buying advantages.

I bought a fire stick recently and I got the 30 day free trial membership. I have a problem, I watched the man in the high castle episode 1. But when I tried to continue on the rest of the episodes would not play! is this because I have trial membership? In the advertisement it states unlimited shows&music! can someone answer me please!!!!!!!!
