I bought these because I think it’s a wonderful cause, but 3 days later my PayPal was hacked and charged $100 TWICE as a “donation” to Marlena Margraff and only one was resolved. I’m not 100% sure the two are related, but I wanted to mention it in case it has happened to anyone else. This is the first time I’ve used PayPal in two months, so it seems like the two are related. I hope this didn’t happen to anyone else. =/
Tiffany, I don’t think in any way that these 2 things are related. I personally know the family that is taking these kids in and to say that they would hack your paypal account and then make a donation to a made up name is completely untrue. I am so sorry that you had anything bad happen with your account. I have used payola for 10 years and have not ever had anything happen with mine. PLease continue to contact Paypal and make sure that you get your money back!
Oh, that’s not what I meant at all. The woman whose name was used was hacked herself and they weren’t the same as this. I simply meant the people need to watch PayPal right now. Apparently a lot of people are getting scammed.

I realize this has been resolved and fixed but would it be ok if my name was removed from the comment above? I did a google search on my own name and this popped up. I was glad to have Paypal resolve the issue and notify us of suspicious transactions- people are so selfish to steal from others especially 2 days before Christmas. I was happy when I received all my money back but closed my account right after and have not used Paypal since. :)Thank You
