This is a great week at HEB, they are rolling out the deals and the best is the Blue Bell IMO! You can see the HEB coupon policy HERE.
H-E-B accepts the following types of coupons:
- Manufacturer issued coupons obtained from printed publications (newspaper, FSI, magazines, etc)
- H-E-B Issued coupons
- Manufacturer-sponsored coupons (Type M coupon; has an ‘M’ in bottom left corner)
- Store-sponsored coupons (Type S Coupon; has an ‘S’ in the bottom left corner)
- Big Savings coupons (Type B coupons; has a ‘B’ in the bottom left corner)
- The above mentioned H-E-B issued coupons are typically
- Available at store level and typically yellow in color
- Generated by a coupon printer at the register and provided with customer receipt
- Distributed via direct mail to customer households or other printed publications
- Printable coupons with a bar code (i.e. Online or Internet coupons)
HEB deals are a little slow this week, but you can always count on a good meal deal or 2! Thanks to Frugally Thrifty.

They also have a great deal on Ocean Spray Cranberry Juice. The 32 oz is .88 each and when you buy 2, there is a $1.50/2 coupon in store making them .26 each!

What area are you in? Because my H-E-B does not have the Blue Bell Ice Cream deal? Just wondering if I am missing something. Thanks

I am in Houston

I am in San Antonio and we don’t have the Blue Bell either. I think we may be a week behind in the deals. See if it shows up next week.

Kathy, I am also in San Antonio, went to HEB looking for the ice cream, not on sale, talked to the manager and showed him this post and he honored the sale price and I was able to use my bluebell coupons… 🙂
Tiffany says
Wow, that is amazing! What a great manager!

Do you have Albertson’s near you? I don’t see it listed on the right of your blog. I was hoping for some assistance for a newbie! They have coupons for B1G2 FREE Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast Pre-Seasoned and another similar coupon I want to go take advantage of (feeding 7 here!). So, I want to make the trip worthwhile and was looking over the ad and found this deal listed:
2 Free Gallons of Milk (Albertson’s brand) when you buy ANY 6 Keebler Cookies, Kellogg’s Cereals or Eggo Waffles or Pancakes (Select Varieties) – next to this it states 3 for $8 (over 90 items to choose from).
I have some printable $1/1 box Post Shredded Wheat Cereal coupons – so I’m hoping that cereal is included in the 90 (it’s not pictured in the ad, but they only picture about 10 items, so I’m hoping)
I also have some Post manuf. coupons for $1/2 ( I have 4 of these) so I was thinking I could get 6 boxes of cereal and use 3 of these coupons. Does that sound like the way to go?
Then maybe if I can use those $1/1 coupons I mentioned above (I have 2 of those), I could then add 4 more items and I have a few other Post coupons I could use.
Am I on the right track? I don’t know why this is seeming so overwhelming right now.
Tiffany says
Yes it sounds like you are on the right track and have a good plan!
Catherine says
LOL, the part where I said “overwhelming” – ha – I just noticed I was mixing brands and coupons – maybe I’ll sit down and write it all out BEFORE I head to the store tonight! Post and Kellogg’s and Keebler are on diff. sales, but it’s the Kellogg’s and Keebler that are part of the milk deal. Sigh. I’ll hopefully get it right at the store! Thanks 🙂

If you googled “Albertsons matchups” I’m sure you will find some sites that will be helpful. I haven’t been doing it too long myself, and I still get a little overwhelmed at times…mostly because I have a plan, and then the stores are out of stock. If it wasn’t for great people like Tiffany, I would have given up!
Good luck!

Tiffany says

Jan says
