Hi Tiffany!
longtime reader with a Walgreens dilemma!
Sorry about commenting on a CVS post but this is related to a Colgate mouthwash deal.
So this week Walgreens has a $2.50 RR if you buy the mouthwash. So I did that earlier in the week but when I tried to do another transaction today with the Colgate mouthwash again – 1 bottle of mouthwash (had a $1MQ), 2 bottles of All detergent (had a $2MQ) and tried to use the 2.50 RR from earlier in the week – the clerk said I couldn’t use both the RR and the Colgate $1off coupon because the RR was “compliments of Colgate” – is she correct in this instance because if not, I’m about to write an UGLY email to Walgreens. Thanks in advance for any help!
The cashier was correct in not allowing it. Walgreens does not allow you to use a RR on an item from the same company that you earned the RR from. Even if a cashier does, the RR will not print a second time, their registers are set to restrict it.
