In Honor of this sweet little boys birthday, I am reposting my favorite post of him!
Ahhh, the allure of the baseball park concession stand. The aroma of fried food, candy and frozen pickle juice???
For a mere 25 cents you can buy frozen gatorade in a tiny 2 oz. little cup, my frugal heart breaks everytime my children blow all their quarters on these. But what happens when the gatorade runs out? The kids, with quarters burning holes in their pockets start buying the frozen pickle juice.
But, what happens when the baby not knowing any better pitches a fit for the frozen pickle juice expecting something sweet?
Let’s find out…
We tried to tell him, we tried to hide it, but somewhere in the back of my sick twisted little mind I wanted to see what would happen.
If you scroll down really fast it kinda looks like one of those little flip books from when you were a kid.
I could not have a birthday post for this little guy and not post my most favorite photo in the world… this was taken by my good friend Maureen Light.
That is Paul’s arm holding Rush, he had just helped deliver him.
Love you, Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday little man! I love giving the boys sour things just to see the faces they make. No harm in that. Right? Love the pics!

Ahhh the wonders of pickle juice!!!! We've even purchased pickle juice snow cones at one of those little hole-in-the-wall snow cone stands. After everyone in the family got a taste it was passes on to the dog…he loved it. They must be missing "sour" taste buds. I was just talking to someone the other day about Rush's birth. About how I thought I would cry through the whole thing and not be able to concentrate on actually taking the photos. To much into the work I was doing I didn't have any emotions, I thought something was wrong with me. The crying came later when I uploaded them to the computer. Took me 5 tries and 5 rounds of tears before I could finally start working on them. What a wonderful miracle we all are, it just blows my mind. Happy Birthday little Rush!!
