I wanted to show you what I was able to pick up at the $.99 Only store last night. If you go with an open mind and look… you can find some really good name brand deals. The produce can be a really good deal sometimes that you can’t beat anywhere! I have gotten large bags of red bell peppers for $.99.

My total was right at $10. The pineapple alone is almost $3 or more everywhere else right now! Sadly they don’t take coupons, but you might want to think about stopping in!

It’s one of my favorite places to go for produce. I get my carrots, celery, mushrooms, lettuce, cabbage, tomatoes, bananas, apples & pears. The one on Sawdust used to sell the Sunday paper for $1.50. I just found out this past weekend that they stopped selling the paper. The clerk said the Chronicle wanted them to sell for higher amount and mgmt decided against it. I would have paid $2 over $2.50
I asked my location about coupons & they said the reason is because it takes too long to get their money back. Makes you think that the did in the past….maybe they might start again one day.
They also carry those magic eraser….its an off brand but they work just as good.

I was just there yesterday, found great deal on quaker granola bars for .99 and “FRIENDS” dvds 2/$1! THeir VHS movies are .25, I bought “MIB and MIB2”.

I used to shop there for produce and cleaning supplies before I started price matching at walmart. Sometimes they carry incredible deals like OM bacon ,prosciutto and other delicacies..
I have one of these near me and a while back I went in and found out they had fresh items and have been buying there ever since. The best deals are the huge bags of carrots, lettuce, cucumber, also 5lb bags of potatoes garlic you can get 4 cloves for $1 I’ve also seen on occasion the 7-9oz lunchmeats in the plastic container, i stock up when i see those! they also have offbrand cleaners. I will never pay more than a $1 for furniture polish or especially the car cleaning products. we used them to detail my car and it was a substantial savings!
