Well we have seen a misprint at Target go really well and now we are seeing a CVS misprint, that is not so good!
The Starbucks sale that was supposed to be BoGo 50% off including the K-Cups, is actually a misprint according to signs inside CVS stores this week. Which has sparked some REALLY mad people over at the CVS Facebook page.
It also appears that CVS social media team only works Monday – Friday, because apparently they think people only use Facebook between those days?? #fail on CVS part!!
Anyway, just a heads up incase you were wanting to do this deal. 🙁

My CVS honored it for me yesterday, I asked for help from the manager and had a conversation about how the add should legally be honored. He was more than helpful.
Wow. CVS does not have to legally honor the add. If you look on page 7 it states “Not responsible for typographical or printing errors”. So with that being said the manager probably felt like he was being bullied, especially when people feel intitled to ad errors and are demanding.
Anyways…today I did this deal and picked up 2 boxes with absolutely no problems what so ever. I was purchasing these regardless with my 2-$1.50/1 coupons and the manager adjusted the price to reflect the BOGO. I didn’t even have to ask. I love my CVS.
Yep, found this out this Saturday when the sales for Sunday started at my fave CVS on Spencer Hwy. I asked the very rude clerk (Frances) if she could honor the ad anyway, since I found out the Manager wasn’t there she said “No”, with smug look on her pruney face. I just walked out with only one!
It’s still up on their website, under weekly ad. Is that legal?
I was actually bummed when I saw that the k-cups were on sale since I usually do pretty good buying them at regular price and stacking % off coupons to buy them. But I needed them so I went in to get them BOGO and was surprised to see that the sales sign just said “$7.99” nothing about BOGO. I showed the cashier the ad and he modified one to free. WAY better deal than I could have done with a % stack. Got 2 boxes of k-cups for $4.99 🙂
