* I posted this last night and it looks like it is still working! If you need diapers….. RUN to CVS!
Just a heads up from a reader Lisa who sent me in some info on a CVS deal that going on right now.
There is a $10 ECB that is printing when you spend $30 on Huggies products. Well, it appears that the $10 ECb is not printing and a $20 ECB is printing!!!
Basically as long as that $20 ECB is printing you can get 3 packs of diapers for $.97!
:: DEAL IDEA::
Buy 3 Huggies Diapers $9.99 each
Use 3 $3.00/1 Huggies coupons
Pay $20.97 Get back a $20.00 ECB!
* I am sure at some point CVS will figure out the ECB is not printing right and fix it to $10, which is still not a bad deal for diapers! 🙂

We always talk about the fraudulent couponers ruining things for us with their dishonesty….and this is different?
Tiffany says
You aren’t using a fraudulent coupon I hope!

Just came out of CVS, not printing the $20 ECB anymore, only $10. Ohh well, I’m running out of diapers anyway, would be nicer:-(
Lisa says
They fixed it and I hear the $20 is scanning at $10!! My CVS is super nice so I know they’ll just override it to $20.
Tiffany says
Oh this is going to get ugly!

Just an FYI question I have. When it says you have to spend $30 but they price the items $9.99, if I buy 3 then it would be a few cents shy of $30…would it trigger the ECB? I wondered this before but this just reminded me. I did a paper towel deal a while back and was just shy of $30 and it didn’t trigger it because it had to be $30 before tax.
Tiffany says
Yes most of the time it will.
Lisa says
You need to be at 98% of whatever the deal is unless its a tiered deal. Tired deals are buy $20 get $5 or buy $30 get $10, for those you need to be right at the exact amount per-tax. If its a deal with a limit of more than 1 then again, the 98% rule applies.

I have a friend that this happened to and when she went in the next day to use the $20 ecb, it was rang up as a $10 ecb! Apparently, CVS is much aware of this and it has been made to correct that $20 ecb in the system for the $10 it was meant to print out for:(
Tiffany says
It was printing and redeeming as $20 Saturday and a good part of Sunday. CVS was able to change it Sunday afternoon.
Lisa says
They should override it. I think what happened is they used the same code when thy corrected it in the system since it’s supposed to be a limit one deal. If they gave it a whole new code it would give people the ability to do the deal again, but as it was intended. We’ll see how it plays out. There’s not much I need this week, I’m going to use mine next week to stock up on Johnson & Johnson and desitin. I’m crossing my fingers for a % off email, I haven’t received one in weeks, but it would make for a sweet deal if I can get my hands on one (about $1 a bottle)!!

I was undecided when I saw this, but I purchased the diapers. And I got the $20 ecb back. What a deal !

I don’t have any babies, but this will make a great baby gift. I used the coupons you posted and receive the $20 ecb . What a great deal?
