So you all know how I am freaking out about the Kellogg’s Cereal deal at Kroger! Since we were low on cereal! Plus, there are a few coupons that match up really well with this sale, the thing that I like for you if you are not a “hard core” couponer is that even if you do not have a pile of coupons in your binder, you can just print these off and run into your store!

The prices on the cereal are $1.92 and $1.64, so even with the $1/3 coupon taking $.33 off the $1.64 is a good price!

On Cottonelle’s website there is a $1.50/1 12-pack of toilet paper that you can print twice. Kroger has it on sale for $6.49 (from $8.99) if you buy 10 participating items in the Mega Event, which makes it only $5.99. Combine that with the coupon and you pay $4.49 per package.

PLUS you will get a catalina for $1 off a any future kroger purchase for every package you get. After catalina back it is only $3.49!

** The coupon is for the TP and cottonelle wipes, so make sure to grab the wipes as well if you want to do this deal. They are not part of the mega event this week.

I did my digging last night to try and get you a good list of what is “unadvertised” and surprisingly there was not really anything that was not in the ad! That will be a good resource for you to shop with in the next few weeks as a mega event traditionally runs for 2 weeks.

If you are looking for a deal idea I thought I would put a few together for you this week, each day check back to see what ideas I have. I want to see some of your pictures this time also!

You will need to purchase 10 of ANY of the mega event items to get the $3 off and $2 back. It is mix and match, you do NOT have to buy 10 of the same item.

This scenario will be easy, because you don’t have to have any coupons already, you can just print them off. Remember to hit your “back” button to get 2 of each coupon.

How to shop this Kroger Mega Event – Daytona 500

You might have noticed that this Kroger Mega Event is a little different than the past Mega Events. It is a Daytona 500 event, you get $3 off when you buy any 10 of the specially marked items. Then, after checkout you get $2 more dollars in catalina’s to spend on your next trip.

This is what the catalina looks like (above) to use on your next shopping trip. If you have ever watched my Kroger Mega event video where I go shopping it was the same kind of sale. I got about $30 back in catalina’s at the end of my trip.

The amount that you are getting back is more than normal, but I don’t like taking the chance that I will lose the catalina’s before I can use them again, and I can’t always turn around and use them right away. However, last time the catalina’s said you had to use them 1 per transaction. This time thankfully, you can use as many as you have on a transaction.

This is what to do to make the most of this event:

  • Go HERE and load your Kroger card with eCoupons
  • Go HERE and take a look at the weekly Kroger matchups
  • Go HERE and print any necessary coupons
  • Print your list off and/or circle all the items that you want to buy
  • When shopping look for the Daytona Mega Event tags
  • Add Daytona ME items to your cart in multiples of 10. You do NOT have to have 10 of the SAME item, you can mix and match.
  • Check out, hand them your Kroger card. Make sure to hand over your coupons.
  • After you check out when you get your receipt, you will get the $2 catalina’s back.

There are MORE Kellogg’s coupons. This time you can get $1/2 Fruit Snacks and $1/3 Pop Tarts! The Pop Tarts one never lasts long, so get it now.

 

This week they are on Mega Event at Kroger, these are the BIG boxes. It makes them $2.36 each box after coupon.
