These next 2 weeks at Kroger there are some overlapping deals that might be a little confusing, so I want to explain them and how they work together.

There are 2 separate deals going on. The Kroger Mega Event and a few catalina deals. These are overlapping each other, which is awesome for us!

Kroger Mega Event: When you buy 10 of ANY specially marked items you will get $5 off instantly at the register when you swipe your Kroger card. The key is to use coupons with these items to save even more money.

Catalina Deals: When you buy the specific number of items required, after check out you get “cash back” in the form of a catalina or “register coupon” the long skinny coupons that the cashier hands you with your receipt. Treat this like cash as you can use it on whatever you want right away.

Kroger is in the second week of an AWESOME mega event. WE do need to watch the date though because the Kraft catalina deal ends on September 15th.

Susan ( the awesome couponer who taught me to coupon) called and asked why I had not posted the BBQ sauce. It was in the matchups, but I had not highlighted it. Honestly, it was because I had so much BBQ sauce I didn’t even think about it! 🙂
