Reader Stephanie had a GREAT trip to HEB last night and shared with us what she found!

I wanted to share what I thought was a really good shopping trip at HEB in Pasadena.
I bought 8 bottles of Barbq sauce (6 diff flavors), The meal deal Lunchmeat, cheese, mac and cheese, bread, mayo, corn nuts and a package of fruitables.
When I was waiting in the checkout line I saw an ortega booklet for 3.99 full of coupons and recipes. So here is  my total.
*8 bottles of barbque sauce – Free
*Kraft singles – 2.98-$1.00 coupon
*Mac and Cheese 1.00-Free with meal deal
*Kraft Garlic & Herb Mayo 1.50-Free with meal deal
*Bairds small loaf 2.07-Free with meal Deal
* Corn nuts 1.08-Free with meal deal
*2 OM Deli lunch meat-2.88 ea-$1/2 coupon
*8pk Fruitables 2.78-$1 coupon
*ortega recipe book 3.99 ($10 worth of coupons inside)

So my total was $29.14 and I had $14.37 worth of coupons (meal deal and fruitables were in store)
And I spent $14.77 – and I now have $10 in ortega coupons to save with.

Hey! Are you hanging onto some of those $3 Nivea body wash coupons? Well, if you are waiting for your Walmart to restock and you have a HEB nearby you are in luck!

Thanks to reader Mia for the heads up that it is on sale this week at HEB for $3, use your $3 coupon and get yours free!

I know that not everyone has an HEB, they are more of a Texas store. Pretty cool store though, they have some weird coupon “rules” but a good store overall, with good deals. Stay tuned for a HEB post this week, on what all those coupons mean that are in their store!
