CVS trip I spent $11.89 and left with $9 in ECB’s

It’s late, I am tired.
But I spent $11.89 and left with $9.00 in ECB’s for next week.
I wanted to make sure I got the Buy one Get one Free nice Bic pens. Last week you could print off a $2.00 off one coupon. That made them free this week. Unfortunately the coupon is no longer working.
I also wanted to do the Kashi deal. Buy 3 for $10 get $5 back. There are many Kashi coupons out there and peelies from the boxes of cereal.
The CVS tampons are free this week with ECB’s. All the school supplies are as well.
*Don’t forget if they are out of school supplies or anything to get rain checks.

The Mentos gun was buy $15 get $5 back. They were a $1 each and I had $.55 cent coupons.

I didn’t have a chance to grab school supply items the other day, they were mostly out, but this is what I got.
Oh and I scanned my card and guess what I got… more FREE nuts!

I made three transactions, mostly because there was no one in line.

1st transaction:
2 mini notebooks .99 cents each (get back $2 Ecb)
used a $2.00 ECB to pay for it, owed the cashier .01 cent! (ironically I had to borrow a penny from a friend I only had a quarter!)
Total 0.01 cents
2nd transaction:
1 pack 24 ct. pencils, $1.99 each (get back $2 ecb)
used my $2.00 ECB that I got back from the mini notebooks to pay for this.
Total FREE
3rd transaction:

Just in case you have any of the Electrasol Coupons left from last weeks paper, and didn’t get to use them at Target this week…. hang on to them!!!

P.S. Someone asked earlier, what are ECB’s. ECB’s stand for Extra Care Bucks. Get a CVS card at CVS, they are free and save you money. Every time you buy something from there have the cashier scan the card. When you purchase something that gives you ECB’s back (they are labeled in the store and in the flyer) at the bottom of your receipt a ticket prints off. This ticket is like CASH, don’t loose it. You can use this ticket to pay for your next transaction.

I think I did pretty well tonight! I bought all this for $1.14!! Woohoo! 
This is what I did…
Paul’s card, first transaction:
1 Duracell battery $2.99 used $1.50 coupon
1 CVS panty liner .89 cents

4 First Aid Kits .99 cents used 4 $1.00 off coupons on any First aid brand product
3 Hello Kitty bandaid $3.59 used 3 $1.00 off coupons
2 CVS Cashew nuts .99 cents used $2/2 CVS coupon HERE
Then used $7.99, $4.00 ECB’s from last week. 
Total $1.14 cash out of my pocket + got back $10.89 in EBC’s for next week!! (ECB’s for duracell, panty liner, speed stick, and bandaids)

When you walk into a CVS the first thing you should do is scan your CVS card at their price check machine. This will print you off CVS coupons to use in the store. Yours might look like this one…

This week mine has been spitting out coupons for $2/2 bags of gold emblem nuts. The trail size bags of cashews are .99 cents. So I have been walking out of CVS with two free bags of nuts all week! I am normally not in there that much, but I have been making photo books all week!

Also, I have been getting some good $4/20 purchase. Don’t forget to scan your card!

Make 5 FREE photo books at CVS this week!

Like I said up top, decide at home what your books will be. Gather anywhere from 10 to 50 pictures for each book. The books are 10 pages and 6×8 in size. You can add more pages but it costs you money. Edit your photos at home, reducing red eye and cropping, it is easier at home than on their machines. 

Now put your pictures on a disk or jump drive. I think you can use a sd card but I have not tried it. Take the disk to your store. By the photo center are kiosks from kodak, sit yourself down on one and follow the directions! Make sure you choose 6×8 photobook.
I made this one for Tucker’s All-Stars last year. You can add text and choose a theme for your pages.
You can choose the color for your backgrounds and arrange pictures. You have the ability to minimize and enlarge each photo.
I did a mini birth book for Rush. Poor 6th kid… he misses out on all that crafty stuff.
This book was a little one for Emma, the kids love having books of pictures of them! They have some really pretty backgrounds to choose from.
Only put the photos you want to use for this project on your disk so you don’t have to wade through a ton of other photos to get your book done. 
When you are satisfied with your book, hit submit and it will print right there for you. The photo lab person will assemble it for you, the whole process should take about 20-30min.
These are a lot of fun, so get your pictures together and get in there!
