I taught a coupons class last night to a group of really nice ladies! Hi girls! And, it has been a while since I have posted help for newbies at CVS, so here are some deals to help you with your first trip!
** Make sure you have a CVS card.
** Scan it when you first walk in, at the red price scanner, it will give you coupons to use.
** Don’t forget if an item is sold out GET A RAIN CHECK! You can come back later when they have it and still get your ECB’s.
** Put all the items in your cart first, than break them up into small transactions.
This is a scenario we talked about last night:
Transaction #1
Buy:
(1) Soft Soap Body Wash $4.99
(1) Power Bar Energy Gel Blast $1.50
Use:


-$1 off Softsoap Body Wash, from the March All You (magazine found at the check out in Walmart) 
or 
-$1 off Power Bar Energy Gel Blast Chews, SS 1/03 (January 3rd Smart Source)

Total Due: $4.49
Get Back: $5.50 ECB, you make $1 profit!
* Now, if you don’t have either coupon, your total due will be $6.49 but you still get back $5.50 in ECB’s for your next purchase.

1 Colgate Total toothpaste on sale 2 for $5.
1 Listerine Original or Kids Agent Cool Blue $3.99
Use:

I am not even going to post a picture because I am trying to post this FAST!!!

If you have a CVS RUN RUN RUN, they have the large bag of Huggies wipes 219 count on sale (mismarked) at $2.50 a bag!! This is cheaper than Costco or Sams! They are normally $7.99.

You have to have the cashier scan your card. If you check the price at the red scanner it should say $7.99 or 2/$5 with card. If you have any $.50 huggies coupons or a $5/15 this is even a sweeter deal!

** WOOHOO Just got mine! The CVS at Grogans Mill had a ton on the shelf! When my total is going to be $0.00 I always throw in something else…. other wise it freaks the cashiers out.

If you purchase the Glade at CVS this week, you can submit for a $5 rebate with the purchase of 3 products. It is an SC Johnson rebate from a while ago but you are allowed 3 per household so if you haven’t already done it, would be a nice little moneymaker. Thanks for the email Tiffany in CA!
