Right now on Amazon you can get this Cast Iron Grain Grinder or Nut Mill for $19.95{was $99} and free shipping with a $25 purchase. This would be a good unit for an emergency preparedness kit. The review are o.k. not the greatest, but for $19.95 I am willing to give it a try as Amazon is easy to return items to. Go HERE to take a look at the grain mill. Thanks Thrifty Couple.

“emergency preparedness kit”…will the grinder fit in a bug-out bag, lol?

When I first say it I thought it was a meat grinder. I have a meat grinder that looks just like the one that my Mother passed on to me that her Mother passed on to her. It still works after all these years. I thought about buying it for my daughter, but after reading the limited uses for this grinder and some of the negative reviews I decided that it was not for me.
