CVS Shopping Trip 8/18/13 – Left with $19 in ECB’s for next week!

CVS Shopping Trip 8/18/13

I started my transactions with $5 ECB’s from last week’s deal on Renu contact solution.

Transaction #1
(2) Revlon Colorburst Lip gloss on sale for $6.99 with extra care card
(2) Revlon Mascara on sale for $6.99 with extra care card
Use $5.00 ECB from last week
Use (4) $2/1 Revlon cosmetic item exp 8/18/13 (SS 7/28/13)
Total out of pocket after tax: $16.19
Earn $4.00 ECB for every item purchased: $16.00

The only reason I split my transactions was because I thought that each ECB from Revlon deal would print separately not $16 at once…I was mistaken so I couldn’t use on 2^nd transaction…no biggie though.

(1)CVS Brand nail polish remover $1.87
(2) CVS Brand Skin Soothing body wash $5.49 ea
(1) Coca-Cola 2 liter .99
Use (1) $1/1 CVS Brand Polish Remover or cotton balls from scanner
Use (1) $2/2 CVS Brand body wash or soap from scanner
Use (1) $1/1 Peelie that was on 1 of the body wash
Use (1) .25/1 Coca-Cola coupon from scanner
Total out of pocket: $10.38
Earn $3 ECB

Because the first ECB was $16, Tracy didn’t use it on her 2nd transaction because it was only $10.38. She would have had to add in another $5 so she didn’t loose that money. Because you can’t get money back from an ECB. So she is just saving it for next week!
