CVS has a crazy good deal this week on Pantene. It looks like they are taking $6.99 off because of the coupon and not just the $4 because it is on sale. Thanks Lady Savings.
This deal has been done by a number of people at this point in the week and every time the coupon has taken off $6.99. The only way it wont is if the cashier adjusts the coupon and the problem with that is that CVS will get $6.99 back when they redeem the coupon.

If the cashier does try to adjust it, do you think it is ok to, politely, tell them that they will be reimbursed $6.99 for it? There is a class action against Target for something similar isn’t there?
Yes there is currently. But ultimately it is up to the cashier.

Sadly, I went Sunday morning and they ONLY took the 4.00 off; however, there was another deal, a few weeks earlier (gillette razors) and they took 10.99 off (which was the up to amount) – this was the same cashier, so I thought maybe the policy changed or she got in trouble from the Manager…so, I didn’t question her!!! Maybe I should of :(…lesson learned!
The store I was at adjusted the coupon down so I called corporate they said they are supposed to adjust it down so If we get a store that doesnt … count your blessings. Also the limit is 2 but you can only use four pantene coupons so I used the $5 off 2 covergirl lip coupons and got $20 ecb. Haloween candy courtesy of CVS!!!!!

CVS in Sterling Ridge in The Woodlands TX tried to screw me out of my coupons. I tried explaining and she said I was lying. So I told her what I thought and took my coupons and left!!!
My cashier did adjust the price from $6.99 to $4.00. When I politely notified her the store would receive $6.99. She stated ” There is a blank line for me to fill in price for the store to get refunded for using this coupon. Which as you can see I’m writing in $4.00 therefore the store would not receive the full $6.99. Is that true?
I did a similar deal this past Sunday at my fave CVS, except I got other items that were part of the get $10 ECB wyb $30+. I split my 8 Pantene products into 2 transactions used 4 of the BOGO MQs and 2 of the $1/2 MQs and paid just over $2 OOP for all 8 items.
If your store doesn’t adjust down there is also a great deal for Tressemme. If Big Red gave you a $2/2 Tressemme this week you combine it with the coupon from 9/30 for free styling product when you buy shampoo and conditioner. They are on sale for $4. No ecb though but still a great deal. And it’s also the big bottles. I got all 3 for $3. But my store auto deducts. HTH

I only have 1 buy one get one free coupon, but I went to CVS today , I got a buy $50 get $10 off, so I got 3 crest toothpaste for $2.99 ea, 3 crest 500ml rinse $2.00 ea, 1 Glide floss, 1 Almay eye make remover, 2 Pantine and 3 tres products, with all the coupons and $15 EB from last time I paid $4.04, and got $16 EB back for next time. That’s great deal and thanks to you. I even took a picture ^_^.
Another frustrating experience at CVS. My store actually told me they were not accepting the BOGO Pantene coupons at all, because they were ringing up wrong. This is after I wait in line for 10 minutes. ggrrrrrr!

Tiffany, have you tried this at any of the Woodlands/Spring area stores? I am such a Wags girl, I rarely shop CVS so I don’t know if any of the stores around here would allow the auto deduction. I also rarely coupon at Target but the one time I tried this Pantene coupon there, the cashier changed the value so no luck there.
That coupon (B1G1) must have been regional, because I don’t have it in any of the SS inserts from that day. Shucks!
I live in michigan and it worked here! CVS took $6.99 off my bill! Only sorry I didnt have more coupons!
