My Dollar Tree told me that my coupon couldn’t be $1.00, because everything in the store was $1.00 and they’re not giving anything free.

Hi Lydia, I had the same issue the 1st day they started to accept manufacture’s coupons. I showed them their policy and they did end up taking my coupons, just as they should have done. I do think that they needed to train their employees because when I go to a register with my coupons, the cashier looks terrified!
Tiffany, are you able to use the $2.oo off coupon for the Zicam at your Dollar Tree? I tried to use a coupon for $2.00 off of the Elka-Seltzer Medication and they refused to honor it because the product was only $1.oo and they would not decrease the coupon value to $1.oo. I contacted the Dollar General Headquarters and they also said that they will not honor a coupon for more than the price of the product, nor will they adjust the coupon amount to match the cost of the product.
I am worried that they have no idea what they are doing yet. I have not tried it. Anna from Dollar Store deals called them and they said they would adjust it! I think we all just need to keep calling until they can all get on the same page!
i have gone to the dollar tree to try this but i cant find anything i read on another website that someone got garnier shampoo for free from dollar tree but my dollar tree doesnt carry it and all deodorant are travel i even called another store and they dont carry it either
Where are you located? I have been to 3 in my area and there are always deals to be found. I would say go look again, and don’t trust what they tell you on the phone. Take your coupons and match them up to the products when you are in the store. They are not all travel size!!
