First, let me just say thank you very much for all the time and effort you pit in to my litter! It’s my favorite! I went to my local dollar tree today and the only item they had available was the hefty sandwich bags. They also had the Disney bags but said I couldn’t use the coupon because the picture on the coupon was of a different item.. The coupon stated any Disney item but they said they had gotten in trouble for taking coupons with different pictures on them. Is that correct? Thanks again!
Oh heck! It is going to take some time to educate cashiers. We are all going to have to work together and teach them how to coupon. NO, it does not have to match the picture. There are so many Disney products that they can’t possibly put EVERY picture on a coupon. That is why you have to READ the wording and that is what you go by. They need to learn this and we need to teach them!
This happened to me the other day at wal-mart, I was buying the razor with $3.00 M coupon, the cashier said it doesn’t match the picture, so I need to read the coupon to her : it’s says for any that brand razor, then she was not happy to let me use and took off the $3 and give me the receipt without saying anything. I really don’t like when the cashier treat couponer like this.
That coupon is put out by a vitamin company, not Disney, so I think it follows that the coupon would only be good for vitamins made by that company.
I can’t find the coupon. I tried changing zip codes. Help! Thanks
Hi Ladies!
I went to my area Dollar Tree this morning and let me just say that at only 10 in the morning the store manager was very much flustered and fed up with coupons as she said it out of her own mouth. Anyway, I went there for the Disney sandwhich bag deal and almost didn’t get it. Luckily I had the Disney vitamin coupon and it literally stated that it was for the vitamins. I placed it side-by-side to the “ANY” Disney coupon and pointed out the wording of each to her. Thankfully she let it pass even after stating that she felt the coupon should be used for vitamins. I hurried to get out of there cause’ it seemed that she was about to bite my head off because of my coupons, when in actuality I’m not doing anything wrong. I guess it will take some time for them to get used to couponers. Oh well!
I was told that the Disney Sandwich bags were not a Disney Manufactured product and that Dollar Tree doesn’t carry anything that is manufactured by Disney or Marvel. I tried to explain to the manager what the coupon said but he was fighting me and told me that he would honor the coupon this time only but will not do it again. Whatever, I still picked up some Hefty Slider Bags and Scottie Tissues for half off. WOOHOO!
I think there were 2 different prints of this coupon. Both apparently were manufactured by a different company then Disney. Although this coupon should only be used on the vitamins, it is a completely irresponsible wording of a coupon in 2012. For consumers to know that there are different manufacturers is unfair. This was a VERY poorly worded coupon.
So is this a legit deal or what? I have a feeling I will get the whole picture doesn’t match song and dance, but if it is a different mf that would be wrong.
