You can’t use the 20% coupon with sale items. I just tried, and yes, I handed it over first. The cashier made a scene and embarrassed me 🙁
I am sorry, that is horrible! Why would they do that? Talk to a manager, that is not acceptable no matter the situation!
Tiffany, I just recently started looking over your website (which I love) and as a CVS supervisor I am upset to hear that cashiers are rude when it comes to coupons! Just thought I would share that for anyone that shops CVS to consider finding a store and certain cashiers that you visit frequently. This makes it easier for you and also for us!
I did this deal this morning with no problem at all I got the free unjunked candy at the same time and it made it an even better deal!! The candy bars are on sale for $.69ea and the coupon automatically takes off $1.19 so I paid less the $1 for the lip gloss & the candy bar and still got my $4 ECB back. I just printed out the coupon again right now and no where does it say that it can’t be used on sale items I would deffinately call corporate and complain
I got the Revlon coupon, but it is for eye or face product.
I used the coupon and had no problems with it. I asked about why someone would be told that and the store manager (who is really nice) said that you can’t use the coupon on clearence sale items. I would try a different store if you have another one close by 🙁
The $3 scanner coupon shouldn’t be used on the lip products. It’s for eye and face (foundation, blush & concealer) CVS posted on their Facebook page that the coupon excludes lip unfortunately. If you look at Revlon’s web page they split up the different make up items into categories and lip is not considered “face”.
I tried to use the 20% off coupon (with the other coupons), but it didn’t take anything off because the Revlon was on sale. Mine specifically said it couldn’t be used on sale items, but I thought I’d give it a try anyway…nothing. But no problems with the cashier.
