I doubled this and made it in a 9×13. The recipe below is for a 8×8.
Oreo Fudge Brownies
1 box Brownie Mix
eggs & oil
1 heaping cup (8 oz) Cookies & Cream ice cream
1/4 Cup hot fudge topping
Preheat oven & spray an 8×8 baking dish generously with cooking spray. Combine brownie mix, eggs, and oil as directed on the back of the box, but do not add the water. Add ice cream and hot fudge to the brownie batter and stir to combine. Pour half of the brownie batter into the baking dish, layer with Oreos, then top with remaining batter. Bake for 40-50 minutes or as directed on the back of the box.

Just as angelic as she looks, this girl could easily raise a Village by herself, and all the children would grow up to be President.

I make this same recipe in muffin tins and put one Oreo in each compartment. Very easy to serve this way. I also leave out the chocolate sauce as we like them a little less gooey. Delicious!
Good, but I think making it with the normal brownie recipe would be better. The middle took longer to bake and so the edges ended up harder. Plus, I like my brownies fudgy and these were more cake-like. I have also made the brownies/oreos in a muffin tin. It is time consuming to dip each oreo in brownie batter. But it is great for a book club or such. This way is very easy.
just when i am diagnosed as being a near diabetic, someone please make and eat these for me. ugh.
Do you melt the ice cream first?
Not completely. Just until it is soft
Do you keep it in the fridge?
