My little darling (now age 14) came out the front door while I was doing yardwork in her tap shoes and tights bunched at her ankles. She was trying to put them on.

Too funny! When my 8yr old was 3 we pulled up to his grandma's house to pick him up and he was outside naked except for rain boots. He was watering her flowers w/ a watering can. I asked him about the boots and he said he didn't want to get his feet wet! Gotta luv a three year old's way of thinkin!
I just starting laughing, the best laugh, when I read this post. I find it so adorably funny. I had to read it to my husband! We can't wait to have kids, the bring the best of everything into your lives.
We love our almost three year old. Her favorite outfit anytime of day or night is her (almost too small) butterfly bathing suit with ruffles on the bottom. She MUST change into it anytime she finds it in her drawers, even if we are looking for pajamas. And she is not a frilly kind of kid. She'll wrestle her older brother for the rights to water the flowerbeds.
