I just wanted to wish all you wonderful Mother’s, and soon to be Mother’s, or Mother’s at heart, a WONDERFUL Mother’s day! What a blessing our children are! Because it is Mothers Day, I wanted to share with you my all time favorite post.
Why is this my favorite post? It just pretty much wraps up what almost every day as a Mom is like with kids. You just never know what you are going to get/see!
One of my children is quite the artist. She draws EVERYTHING, and on EVERYTHING, and with EVERYTHING. Ever had one of those?
But really she is quite good, her pictures of people are spot on in their likeness and as she has gotten older we can see she really has some talent. My husband who is not so interested in art, or the artistic talents of our children has finally taken notice of Avery’s abilities. Especially when she presented me with the card in the first photo, my Mother’s Day card. Then later in the day, she proudly showed me what she was scribbling on the magna doodle.
“What are you teaching our children?” My husband asked.
“What do you mean?” I replied
“I am a little worried about Avery’s drawings.” He said.
“I don’t know what you are talking about.” I replied giggling, “Why do you have to be so immature, just ask her she will tell you what they are.”
“Avery honey, those are really nice pictures, what are they of?” Paul asked.<
Clearly upset that her Dad could not see what she had drawn, she S-L-O-W-L-Y so he could understand, explained what they were….
A pair of scissors, and a worm crawling out of an apple.
Duh! What were you thinking?
HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!!!

Part comedian, part Dad, part athlete. He will boss around your children while they play ball.
Just as angelic as she looks, this girl could easily raise a Village by herself, and all the children would grow up to be President.
Self proclaimed, she would be a webkinz dog. Because, "they're cute, and puppies are too. And they're sweet and they always get along with other puppies."
This mini-Martha Stewart can handle ANY craft you send her way. She isn't all bows and rainbows, she's got karate kid moves!
Not "Pick-Me-Up" like caffeine, she wants you to pick her up! AND NOW!
Anything that can be destroyed WILL be destroyed!
Practically Perfect in Every Way for now! Nicknamed "The Panda" she is rolly polly and lives by the motto, "the little one, is KING!"
The resident Labradoodle, Miller got his name because Mom won and got to name the baby! Need something chewed up? He'll take care of it. Especially if it's expensive..
OMG! This is the absolute funniest! Similar situation happened with my 4 y old when we were at the doctors office – I was mortified when she presented doc with said photo which looked like a man standing there – (you know peeing!) she explained to the adults this was his arm and it was raining?
tee,hee Happy Mother’s Day!
Lmao, this is hilarious,.u know us dirty minded people always think the worst. Lol. But kids are so innocent this is very cute. I love the way ur husband asked what r U teaching our kids..
OMG ! So funny:) By the way i asked my 5 years old son what he see on these pictures? ?? First pic.-hat.
Second pic.-pencil sharpner.
LOL kids:)
I know, see how cute kids are! I am going to ask her little 4 year old brother the same thing!
Love it!!! My husband would’ve thought the same thing!
I love this. I giggled and then showed the hubby who nearly fell off the couch he was laughing so hard. 🙂 Happy Mothers Day!
Yep, my daughter did the same thing to her father. I asked her what she thought of your daughter’s pictures and she saw two ornages sitting togther side by side with a carrot. To her the the second picture was ‘obviously a teacher’s apple’ 🙂 Happy late Mother’s day!
That’s hysterical!!!!!
Priceless!
