I wanted to give you an idea of the kinds of deals that you cold find in your store even if you do not have coupons with you. By just looking around and knowing how the specials work, I was able to save 55% just finding instore coupons and promotions.
Your Safeway/Randalls and all their affiliate stores are running a buy 8 get $4 off promotion this week. That means when you buy ANY 8 of the specially marked items ( you will know which ones because they have the yellow and red “mix and match” tags) you will automatically get $4 off for each set of 8 that you buy when you swipe your Randalls card at checkout. That is basically taking an extra $.50 off each item.
Earlier this morning I posted my shopping trip to Randalls where I just used coupons that were in the store. My store does not always have lots of peelies or tear pads, so you really have to look for them.
The Fresh Express deal this week is really good! It is on sale for 10 for $10. $1 for a bag of salad is about as good as it gets!
There was also a display with Sara Lee bread on special for $1.99, part of the buy 8 get $4 that had a tear pad for $.55 off milk wyb the bread!
The I Can’t Believe Its Not Butter, part of the buy 8 get $4 was on sale for $2.49 it had a coupon on the neck of the bottle for $1 off produce wyb the bottle!
You can usually find peelies on the refrigerated cookie dough, this time the “Simply” kind had them. They were on sale for $1.99, with a $.50/2 peelie that doubled they were only $1.49 each. Plus, they were part of the buy 8 get $4 back.
This was a surprising find! The Hershey’s had tear pads for $.75/1 48oz bottle and a save $1/2 off the smaller bottles, plus they were also part of the buy 8 get $4 event!
This was the sweetest find! The Pepsi Max 2 liters were on sale for $.99 as part of the buy 8 save $4. If you remember a deal like this at Kroger a few weeks ago they had blinkie boxes of $.55/1 coupon right next to the bottles. This made them $.44 each! Pepsi is a bad word in our house and no one likes it, but my teachers up at school do so I am bringing them up there!
I have to add in the PB&J because we have bread and milk at this point! Both of these items also have in-store coupons that you could have used. But with the buy 8 get $4 that price is better. HOWEVER, if you had any coupons to use on these I would use the in-store Randalls coupon + a manufacturer coupon and I think in the long run that would be a better price than doing the buy 8 get $4 promotion.
