Here are the price comparisons from the different grocery stores this week. It is a good way to see which store you want to be shopping at. There is no store that stands out as the best place to shop for me this week. It might be a good week to just price match it all at Walmart.
A few tips to make your shopping list:
- Plan your entire week out
- Start with your protein portion of your meal first, finding the lowest prices on those items will help reduce your bill
- Plan possibly using your leftovers in another meal, for example, if I make chicken and they don’t eat it all, I can shred what is left to put in soup the next night.
- Plan your sides as well. Find coupons for the side dishes, snacks, breakfast and lunch item.

Thank you so much, that is so useful.
Hey there! I am new to shopping for a family and I was wondering what are good prices for meats? Such as ground beef, roasts, things like that. I never really know what a good price is for these types of things. What do you consider good prices Tiffany?
The best thing to do is start a price book. That is where you document the items that your family eats and uses the most. You write down the prices not on sale and on sale. That way you start to get a really good idea when something is a good price. I have price points around $1.79 to $1.99 for boneless skinless chicken. I just keep track because they are fluctuating and different in all areas.
Great idea to post a list like this. I bet it took some time! We only have Kroger around here but it’s nice to know what they have that made your list.
Love love love this, do you do this every week? This is the first time i have seen this, i can not believe i have missed it!
This is so wonderful! Thank you for taking the time to put it together. It really helps cuts my shopping time down. ;o)
