Subscribe & Save Free Shipping Changes + Faster Shipping!
Amazon has been making changes to Subscribe & Save program recently – and it’s bringing some good news for Prime members and some bad news for non-Prime members… (Just another reason to join Prime! See the 9 Amazon Prime Benefits that Make it Worth Having)
Here’s what’s new regarding Subscribe & Save Free Shipping:

FIRST:
The biggest change for the most people will be the FREE shipping option that is going away for non-Prime members.
Old: In the past, Subscribe & Save items came with Free Shipping no matter what – even for those shoppers without Amazon Prime. The mere fact that you’d signed yourself up for recurring shipments, came with the reward of not paying shipping.
New: Now you MUST be an Amazon Prime member – or get your total to $25 – to get the Free Shipping. Luckily you can combine your S&S item with non-S&S items to reach the $25 threshold.

SECOND:
The other big change about shipping is how quickly you can receive your item!
I’m super happy about this change – I’ve always hated having to decide to get my item in 2 days at full price, or in a couple weeks at a nice discount.
Old: Choosing subscribe & save used to mean you could only get the 5% discount if you were willing to wait for the subscription delivery to arrive. Instead of two days, you might not get your paper towels for a month.
New: Now you can choose to save 5% and get immediate delivery, OR choose to wait for your subscribe & save delivery to get up to 15% off if you check out with 5 or more Subscribe & Save items in your cart.

And lastly – our friends over at FabulesslyFrugal have noticed that there are just a couple instances in which a coupon won’t apply to an immediate delivery but will only apply to your first subscription delivery. So keep an eye out and make sure you get your discount under the new program!
