At HEB when you buy any 10 items that have Box Tops, you get a $5 catalina back, funny we just talked about these in this weeks radio show, you can go HERE if you missed it.
Anyway, back to the deal… so you buy 10 items that have box tops and get $5 back. There is a “B” coupon for $4 off any 4 General Mills cereals that is one of the yellow hang tag coupons, because it has a “B” on it you can COMBINE a manufacturer coupon with it!
PLUS, the Betty Crocker fruit snacks have the same deal. Buy 4 get $4 off the fruit snacks, these are also “B” coupons and so I combined them with manufacturer coupons!! Now, with my order I got 2 $5 catalinas back that my cashier used on the order I was buying. This does NOT normally happen, in fact the catalinas are for your next purchase but she took them off this order, don’t expect that to happen, I just got lucky!

** you have until June 28th to do this deal, that is when the $4 coupons expire. Also, this was advertised in last weeks ad, they have signs in the store. One of my HEB did not have the $4 coupons, but my HEB market did, so you might have to look at a few different stores.

They have yellow hang tag coupons in the store by the products, if they have a “m” on them they are manufacturer coupons, if they have a “B” they are store and you can combine them with mfq!
Is this in the ad for this week? or is it just advertised in the store?

So, to get the 2 $5 cats, you need to buy 20 boxtop items, right? In your order it looks like you only bought 18, but got the 2 catalinas. Am I missing something? Just trying to make sure I know what I need to buy!!
The cats come back from the fruit snacks as well I think… because you are right, I bought 18 boxes of cereal and 12 boxes of fruit snacks! I must have gotten one for the fruit snacks…. I will try it out again tomorrow.
I’m confused…its buy 10 items get 5 catalina….did you want to 20 items so you can get 2 of the $5 catalinas? from looking at your items looks like you got 12+4+12=28? or were you wanting to buy 30 to get 3 of the $5 catalinas?

dont know if it is true or not, but I was in HEB on mason and highland ridge in Katy last night, had $12 in items and $$8.00 in INTERNET printed coupons…after my items rung up, I handed internet coupons to cashier, and he told me that HEB does not accept internet coupons anymore due to the rampant fraud occuring with fake coupons. He took my coupons this time, but is anyone aware of this new HEB policy? Their coupon policy is not updated with that info on internet coupons, or is it just this HEB? Im going to do the cereal deal this morning so I will ask the courtesy booth while I am there and follow up.
I posted the coupon policy for HEB in a post today, print that off and take it with you! Call corporate and ask them to clarify!
my apologies guys…HEB does not accept “FREE” coupons from the internet. I used the free lipton tea coupon last night, the cashier told me they didnt take internet coupons anymore, but its only on free items without a purchase.
I took advantage of the cereal deal today, but I only needed four boxes(since I only have a household of three)..bought four boxes of honey nut cheerios at $2.54 each, used the $4 off coupon when you buy four and two $1/2 INTERNET(haha) coupons. (2.54X4=10.16-4=6.16-2=$4.16 OOP or $1.04 per box!!!! what a steal….I would have purchased the fruit rollups too to get the $5.00 catalina, but I already give my son way too many sweets, so I passed this time.
i want to buy like 30 boxes of fruit snacks for my family and some to share- can you help me figure how what i should do-do i need to break them up? i dont have coupons…buy 10 and get 5.00 back-plus use the 4.00 coupon? help-thanks so much
Just do 3 transactions of 10 each, roll the $5 catalinas back on each order to take $5 more off. PLus use any coupons that you have!

Betty Crocker has box tops too! Found coupons for Hamburger Helper, Brownies, and Suddenly salad. Haven’t tried it yet though.
Went to the HEB in Pearland and the computer wouldn’t allow me to use 12 Manu coupons with 3 B HEB coupons for 12 boxes of cereal. They weren’t sure why but wouldn’t take them. I was trying to by fiber one cereal and had a bunch of $.75/1 q’s. Very frustrating. Be prepared that this may not work for everyone.
