Tried to do this deal at the Grogan’s Mill Randalls…..had two of the coupons to buy 2 nivea, get $2.00 off. Okay, so I got 4 nivea and had my coupons and card ready. It was a no go! The cashier studied my coupons like she was on a CSI team, then called another person over and she said she would charge me a penney for each, but then she got scared and said, no let’s get the manager. The manager came over to “fix the situation” but tried to charge me .33 cents for “tax.” I asked for my coupons back, then went straight to panther creek. With no questions asked they adjusted the price and walah everything worked. Totally free. I did call corporate because I felt very confused. Corporate told me that each manager can do things the way they want to, but that it comes out of their budget.
What? Why in the world would it come out of their budget when they are reimbursed for the full value of the coupon? Sounds like corporate has no idea either!
I just sent you an email with more info. Corporate was NOT helpful and basically agreed with the manager. I talked to two different people at corporate…..so frustrating.
