Tonight is the last night of a mega event at Kroger. I have a hand full of awesome coupons that could save me about $200 on my bill….
I also have 100 boxes to be unpacked, no hot water, a headache, no iron or ironing board (I have no idea what I am going to wear to work tomorrow) and have not seen my husband in about a week. I sat for a minute wondering how I was going to possibly run into Kroger quick and use them up. Then I quietly reminded myself, what I would like to remind all of you, that a great deal will come back around again. Sure, it stinks I don’t even have time to give away any of these coupons to my friends or family but there will always be another time.
So I held the baby, took extra long putting the 3 year old to bed, looked for the iron (didn’t find it) answered some email, and am currently stalling as I HATE a cold shower and will kiss the Natural Gas guy when he gets here tomorrow!

I totally hear you on this one. This was me last night. I was feeling sick all day and wanted to get to the store to use up all of my coupons that were expiring on Feb 28th. One thing lead to another and I never made it, but I did go to bed at 8:00, which is insanely early for me.

Good idea. I sent the kids next door to shower at the neighbors 🙂 I just pretended that I was back at girls camp when I was 12 and froze!

SO true! I am getting better slowly about not fretting about missing deals….but it still really bugs me to miss using a really good coupon. As a matter of fact, I had $20 in coupons from James Coney Island that I had gotten as part of a deal in December and they expired on Monday. I have been grumbling for several days now about it.

Thanks for reminder. I was just thinking the very same thing a few days ago. Sometimes you just have to step back and put things in perspective.
I bet you’ll be giving the natural gas guy not one, but 2 kisses :)!

I’m so with you on not catching every deal. We do what we can but can’t catch them all. 🙂
