Many of you have been following me for a while and know that we have started using Essential Oils in the past year. One of my favorite oils is Lavender. It is really the swiss army knife of oils and is good for so many things, no home should be without it!
I wanted to show you some of the results that we have been having. On Easter my 7 year old Rush, took a dive down an embankment while we were at the park. He tore up his arm, face and knees pretty good!
I thought this would be a good time to do a little experiment. We treated his face with Lavender oil from Young Living and we treated his arm and knees with our standard over the counter Neosporin. After 2 weeks you can see the difference! Thank goodness I used the Lavender on his face!
The wound with the Lavender healed faster, and the scab came off “cleaner” I guess you could say. The edges look great and the color is much better, you can hardly tell he did anything to it. His face was worse then is arm anyway. His arm and knees are still a little red and very red around the edges.
You want to make sure that you are using “Therapeutic Grade” essential oil and not the perfume grade that you can get at your local Whole Foods or Sprouts.
This Lavender that I used on Rush you can get in the Premium Starter Kit that I talked about HERE.

Lavender supposedly good to keep lice away too : ) My daughter has long hair, won’t let me put it up; says she wants to wear it “free”. Lol On our way of getting through elementary school with no lice even when students who were sitting RIGHT next to her had gone home with it. Woo Hoo Lavender!! I was using Suave Lavender Conditioner, but looks like they don’t make it anymore : ( I’ll try some of your oil in a squirty bottle : ) I’d imagine will be even better!
