This past year has really been a wonderful one for us. Although we have the usual ups and downs that everyone has, we are very blessed.
In July, or littlest was born perfect and healthy after being told to “not get attached” from my OB, as they were confident I would miscarry. What a blessing she is to our family. Other good news, my husband has a wonderful job that he loves, after almost 2 years of enduring countless layoffs. Those were my 2 biggest worries of 2010.
Some of my goals for 2010 that I completed were:
- Spending more time with the kids!
- Transferring MyLitter to Word Press. Scary… but I am LOVING it!
- Having a SOLID 6 mo. food storage of healthy food and toiletries.
- Saving up enough cash to purchase my Macbook (this is silly I know, but it has changed my life as far as being able to spend more time with my family and not trapped in the office on a desk top!)
I have many goals that I did not complete and a few I never even got to ๐
In the coming year, I have a few goals for the blog that I am excited to see happen:
- I want to get a coupon class online.
- More teaching posts, that is what I really love to do.
Well, theres 2 anyway ๐ I have a bunch of personal goals that we sat down as a family tonight and talked about. It helps me to be accountable especially to the kids and to teach them the satisfaction of working towards something.
Also, in trying to streamline the time it takes to post and the time I spend everyday on my blog I want to focus more on good matchups and GOOD deals. I already skip a lot of the free samples ( you can get those anywhere) and items that are at least more than 50% off on average. I picked a few good daily deal sites to stick with and not bombard you with the 100’s that are out there. Plus, more of my favorite, reader spotlight (I love these) and continue torturing you with family stories!
Thank you, thank you for taking the time to stop by everyday and for your support and kind comments!
Happy New Year to you and your family from MyLitter!

Just as angelic as she looks, this girl could easily raise a Village by herself, and all the children would grow up to be President.
Self proclaimed, she would be a webkinz dog. Because, "they're cute, and puppies are too. And they're sweet and they always get along with other puppies."
This mini-Martha Stewart can handle ANY craft you send her way. She isn't all bows and rainbows, she's got karate kid moves!
Not "Pick-Me-Up" like caffeine, she wants you to pick her up! AND NOW!

Practically Perfect in Every Way for now! Nicknamed "The Panda" she is rolly polly and lives by the motto, "the little one, is KING!"

Happy New Year Tiffany and Family! Thanks for your blog! We also went through about a year and a half of several layoffs. Arg… very frustrating and SCARY. Keep up the unbelievable work you are doing. ๐
Yay! I love this blog! Can’t wait to see what you come up with for the new year!
Your’s is by far my fav. deal blog out there! I really enjoy it!! Here are a few of my fav things you do:
**the greatest deals- AT LEAST 50% off… I rarely even blink unless it’s that much off.
**LOVE your teaching posts (especially the ones that show us some of the things you do for school lunches, etc.)
**Family stories are great!
**reader spotlights
I would love for you to include:
**gift giving ideas for Valentine’s day, mother’s/father’s days, etc.
**Toy reviews that are REALLY worth spending money on– (5 year old got the Radio Flyer Tail Spin Trike for Christmas and ABSOLUTELY LOVES it!!)
**Other ways to cut costs around the home.
Thanks Tiffany, and Happy New year!
One more thing I would love for you to include–
**How you organize and do jobs, allowance, etc. for 7 kids. I always re-vamp my chores/allowance at the beginning of the year and I am OUT OF IDEAS this year! 6 kids and crazy! HELP!
Happy New Year to your family! I feel like your site is more than just a money saving site. It’s a terrific one at that but I really enjoy the personal touches that you put into it. I visit it everyday and can’t wait for the coming year!
I would like to add that I love your blog…thank you so much. It’s so much different from everyone else’s out there. I would love to see the things you have listed to do this year and agree with everyone else above my comment on what I’d be interested in seeing. Just more things that set you apart from the other blogs!
I love your blog, too! I check it all the time. Literally. It’s my home page.
You have to say that! Your my sister! Love you, yours is my home page!
Your blog is by far my very favorite– I am hooked! I have learned so much from reading it– thank you so much
TIFFANY ,
why would the Dr. say that about the baby?
I had an IUD that was so close to the baby they were sure that it would snag the bag and that I would miscarry. Also, the chance of infection was great from the IUD and hey figured I would miscarry from that. But it worked out perfectly and she was meant to be here with us!
My co-worker just delivered her 5th child with her IUD intact alos. I thought it was supposed to prevent pregnancy!! I guess God has his own plans. ๐ Glad to hear everything worked out great!
do they remove it after they found out you were pregnant or they just leave it in till after you deliver ? Yeah, she really is a blessing.
FYI – I love the family updates. I laugh so hard telling my husband different stories from you!
