This example mega event is a Buy 5 get $5 off. Because you have to buy 5 items to get the $5, you need to keep track of how many items you have in your cart. If you check out with 19 items in the mega event you only get $15 off, not the $20 you should have.
This is an older sale ad below, it was a Buy 10 get $5, so NOT the same exact sale… BUT THE SAME CONCEPT!
This is the front page of the ad. It will explain what items are on sale ( although there are a TON more in the store unadvertised) and tell you what your final price will be AFTER the mega event $$ came off at the end.
When you are in the store, make sure to look for the blue and yellow tags and signs letting you know that this particular item is a mega event item. The first price is the price you will pay if you don’t buy 10 mega event items. The lower price is the price you will pay (before coupons) IF you buy 10 mega event items.
I separate the items in my cart by non- mega event items and mega event items so that I can keep track of how many I have. This trip I had 30. I also double count them when I am checking out.

Let’s say buy5save5 I get all different items and have a digital cuopon for each and a paper coupon can I use both ? Does kroger price match,? What if I buy a ckearencw item does it count as a mega event sale ?what if I have a coupon that says $1.00 off any 3 items of cereal but I only get one and mix and match for the buy 5save 5 event that includes the cereal can I still use that q?or do I have to get a diff q?
No, you cant stack coupons. They don’t price match, if the clearance item is part of the mega event then yes.
Hi can you please explain the digital coupons more? I don’t understand how it works. After I load a digital coupon to my card does the coupon automatically work at the end of your purchases? And also how many digital coupons can I use in one transaction? Sorry for all the questions I tried looking up the answers but didn’t get a definite answer I also don’t understand what: “limit 1 use per digital coupon, per transaction” does that mean I can use a digital coupon for only one pampers wipe but I can also use a digital coupon for a bottle of shampoo? My Krogers in TN said they dont accept expired coupons and have never heard of a krogers doing so 🙁 again sorry for the questions please help me: I’m a newbie couponer trying to learn the couponing world

You can load up to 150 to your card. So I suppose you can use up to 150!
Yes! only 1 digital coupon for 1 item. So if you load the pampers coupon and buy 2 pampers, only 1 will have a coupon. You could use 1 for pampers though and 1 for shampoo…

Per visit and then it is gone. THey might reload the coupon after a few weeks though
hi i wanted to know how do you read your receipt to make sure you got the deal price? should the item have the deal price on the side already reduced with the extra $1 off when you buy 5 or does it take it off at the end? not sure if i purchased correctly that’s why…. thank you

You said kroger has these mega events every month?? I’ve never ever heard about them Til now. My kroger doesn’t accept expired coupons either I’m so bummed I didn’t get to use my pantiene coupons anybody know a store that accepts expired coupons?

That is how I always keep count so I don’t miss any 🙂
