Ricola at Walgreens for $0.01!

by Tiffany on October 20, 2009

When I was at Walgreens yesterday i was trying to figure out a way to get the cough drops for a better deal than I was finding. Collin figured out a way to do it!

Deal Scenario:
Buy Ricola Natural Mixed Berry Cough Drops $1.99
Buy any other variety Ricola Cough Drops $1.99
Total=$3.98
Use the buy one get one free coupon from the 10/11SS
(will deduct $1.99)

Plus, use the $0.50/1 Walgreens coupon from the Healthy Savings Booklet
(will deduct $1 for purchasing 2)
And finally use the in ad coupon–which will make them 2/$3
(will deduct a total of $0.98)
Final cost $0.o1 for 2 bags!

**Make sure to hand over the coupons in the order above. If you do it in this order nothing will beep and you can use all the coupons.

Confused – I thought you couldn't have more coupons than items purchased at Walgrees. They will accept 3 coupons for 2 items?

The Sure Deodorant for Men is free after $1.50 coupon in this week's paper and the Wag's 7 day coupon (2/$3).
For The Hilemans- you can use manufacturer coupons and Walgreens coupons together, but be sure to hand them the manu coupons first so their register doesn't beep.

I'm just new to this, but I went to walgreens yesterday and did just that with the ricola. The check out lady was so nice and walked me through it. I didn't know about the walgreens coupon, and she even pointed it out to me!
