CVS: Unadvertised Deal on Skintimate and Hydro Shaving Cream = FREE!

The rumor is that the shaving cream unadvertised deal is back and I wanted to check it out myself…

Sure enough, it looks like it is! This is the deal:

Scan any of the Schick Hydro Shaving cream and see which ones are ringing up as $3.99. For me it was only the green sensitive kind. When you purchase it, you will get a $4 (unadvertised) ECB back. Making  it free. PLUS, this deal is rolling and you can use that $4 ECB to pay for another one!

** It looks as if the Skintimate’s are ringing up as $3.49, mine were NOT, so I didn’t try it. But if yours are, they should also have a $4 ECB. If you buy the Skintimate make sure to use the $.55 coupon in the 1/15 Smart Source.

This is what I did to get all of the above for only $2.29!:

Transaction #1
Buy Schick Hydro Shave cream $3.99
Use $2 peelie on Hydro
Total: $1.99
Get Back $4 ECB

Transaction #2
Buy Schick Hydro Shave cream $3.99
Use $4 ECB from previous purchase
Total: $0
Get Back $4 ECB

Transaction #3
Buy Milk $3.29
Buy 2 Arizona Tea 2/$1
Use $4 ECB from previous purchase
Total: $.29

I just took a trip to our new CVS (they sent our neighborhood really good coupons, including a couple of free items and a $10 off $20 purchase, just to go there)! Well, my originial trip included two (2) transactions and I would end up with $2 ECBs and pay $7. 00 plus tax out of pocket. However, when I got there, I realized that the PEDIA CARE COLD PRODUCT would give me $5 in ECBs! This wasn’t advertised in the ad. The only thing it said, was that it’s on sale for $4.99 and most sunday papers have a $1 coupon. So there was a little surpise for me! ;)
I am not sure, if this is a deal unique to this CVS or if it’s nationwide. But it’s worth checking out especially if you got the coupon sunday!

Lol!!! thanks so much for 6 free shaving cream-3 for my sis-in-law and 3 for me ! I told her about it and we did it together. Plus the supervisor was in shock bec we received the $4 ecb.. I think we made it so obvious because we were excited about it and did different transactions that today when we went back to the same store, the cashier said it was a mistake and didnt get the ECB,,,lol. So thanks again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
